Big game tonight has to be Hobart vs Norwich. Series tied- 3 wins Hobart (first year 2017-18) and 3 wins Norwich (second year, 2018-19). This will be the official tie breaker with both teams going to the "Frozen Four" last March out West with Steven's Point and Geneseo. Good Luck Cadets, should be an awesome game.

No score after 1 at the Cooler. The play-by-play guy is OK but the color guy has had too much coffee. Go smoke a bowl before the second period.

Trine takes a 3-1 lead. SNC scores a shorty to make it 3-2 (their first special teams goal of any kind this season), then score at 19:59 to tie it 3-3 after 2.

Norwich 1- Hobart 0 after two periods. They put the color guy on the play-by-play, I hope we get the other guy back for the third period. Norwich 0 for 4 on the PP.

Kurt Black scores the game winner for SNC at 18:46 of the third. Empty netter makes it a 5-3 final.

Sounds like Aubrun was tossed from the game along with a Skid player with about 10 seconds left. Does that mean he'll miss a game next weekend?

Depends on whether it was a game misconduct or a game DQ. I watched the game there was a bit of a brawl at the end with some unhappy Skidders pushing and shoving Aubrun and he took exception. Haven't look at the box to see what it was for, but he got 5 and the game for something that happened in the last 5 seconds. Norwich despite not scoring until the not-quite ENG, totally dominated the third.

All Geneseo in the first period, 3-0, over Oswego. First two goals by Empey. Second two goals were PP.

The third goal was an unworldly sniper shot from the blue line by Matthew Doran.

Geneseo’s puck movement and speed has Oswego baffled.

4-0. Another PP blast from the blue line. Salsberry.

The penalty was on Passero who also got a 10 and game misconduct. He apparently was unable to keep his mouth shut.

End of second, 4-0.

Essentially the entire second period was played with an Oswego player in the box. Seven for 41 minutes in the second alone. 10 for 47 minutes in the game.

And Geneseo goes on the PP again.

Quickly negated by a Geneseo interference.

And then Oswego gets another penalty and Geneseo scores on the 4x3. 9-0.
