Best Tournament Expansion Plan EVAH!!1!!

This will be awesom!! A postseason that only lasts six weeks isn't neerly long enough!! It should be longer!! At least twice as long, or moer!!! Playoff hocky is the best time of the yeer and I never want it to end!!1

This is how we do it!! STart with the 16 best teams in the country!! No, wait, that's not enuff, take the top 20!! Or 25!!! Then you've got ottomatic qualifiers for:
Reglar season leegue champs!!
Leegue tourney champs!!1!
Cool tournament champs like the GLI, the Beenpot, and that one outside!! But not the un-cool ones like that Florida one!
Legacy teams that should just be in the tourny every year because college hockey owes them evrything!! Like Michigan, and Minnesota (they pretty much invented the game here!!), and Boston College University, and Wisconsin, and Cornell! ANd Michigan!!!!1!1
Oh, I almost forgot: automatic qualifiers for the teams that are real hot at the end of the yeer but sucked early on!!

So, you'd get entered once for each reason above that you desevre!! So a cool team like Michigan might be in the tourny about 8 or 9 tiems!!!!! The first couple rounds wuld be hosted by the teems that desevre to host them! And then you'd have a regional thing and then the Frozen Four!! And a hot team like Michigan culd have their diffrent entries all win and it culd be an entire Michigan Forzen Four!!! Wouldn't that be AWESOME??!!!?! We would - I mean Michigan would be guaranteed to win!

I can't believe I'm responding to this.

If a team can be in the tournament 8 or 9 times, what happens when the bracket has them playing themselves?

Wait, I know your answer; if it's Michigan, they advance. It it's anybody else, they're eliminated.
Silly of me to not figure that out sooner.

America's hockey team wouldn't be out of the tournament now, just because they lost to Yale!! Who is clearly a worst team! See what I mean about how grate this idea is??!!!
