Rensselaer can't win face-offs, can't score (would be nice to get most of the shots on net instead of wide) and was outplayed by Bentley. Kasdorf doesn't look like he is the same guy before the injury. This team is playing worse with every game. Another long season ahead. And we are stuck with Our Great Recruiter for how many more years? Wake up Shirley, wake up Colonel.

SAJ wants hockey to fold, and Colonel, who I assume served as such under Clinton, is obliging.

The only offense that seemed to get going tonight was the Nanne/Melanson line. Scoring both goals and exerting whatever pressure we did. Coach calls a timeout down 3-2 with 1:56 to play. What line up would you have put out there at that moment? We he had Nanne out there but the rest of his line was not. The only chemistry developed in the first 58 minutes was ignored. I find it hard to understand breaking up the line that scored the only 2 goals.
Also, the defensive pairings tonight seemed to lack any cohesiveness. Lots of misplays by Prapavessis and Bokenfohr(one glaring cost us goal number 2 against). More convinced than ever than individually we have a lot of good players but they have not been put together as a team and after 5 games i wonder if that will happen.

The face off statistics do not do it justice-we not only lost most of them-we lost all of the important ones. We had one line going well tinight and without them, we get a big goose egg for the night.
