Ya but did you see anyone with an oversized blanket? Didn't think so...

I went with a snuggie, though it did have an easy-access opening in the front, so I suppose that makes it more of a tuggie.

I've been at Conte the day after Thanksgiving, on Friday and Saturday night and on Sunday afternoon. There have always been a lot of families with younger kids there. I'm not knocking that, its a good thing for the program because more people=revenue.

yeah, more revenue but also down the road these kids hopefully are Eagle fans growing the base

Did they start a 55 minutes chant when NU took a 1-0 lead???

No but there was a scoreboard chant after Whitney scored in the 1st.

At least some beacons of intelligence shouted them down but it was hilarious.


But I did NOT see any oversized blankets on Saturday

This is why I don't mind it. It means that kids are wearing BC gear to school and marketing the program to other kids. Very good in the long run. As long as BC doesn't screw this momentum up by charging for hockey/bball parking, this factor will yield more fans down the road.
