Bat on the ice at USHL game

Re: Bat on the ice at USHL game

Send it to Mariucci when your done with it, the Gophers really need it.

Re: Bat on the ice at USHL game

What the hell is the rally bat doing in effing Wisconsin? It better stay over there. I'll kill the **** thing if it shows its stupid wrinkly face around here again. Turncoat.

Re: Bat on the ice at USHL game

First I thought we were talking about a baseball bat. No wonder the goalie and players were swinging at it!

Second...did they sound the goal horn when they killed the bat? Or was that just the video?

Why yes, yes they did.

No, the bat did not get a delay of game penalty.

And, afterwards, some of the crowd started the chant "don't tell PETA (clap clap clap-clap-clap)" :D

Hopefully this doesn't devolve into a Flordia Panthers kind of situation...

What, one good season then 15 years of mediocrity? ;)

My first trip to Gutterson Fieldhouse at UVM in, I think 1997, maybe 1998, there was a bat flying around on the ice that, I believe, either UNH's Christian Bragnalo or Chad Onufrechuck took care of....

Good times...

Re: Bat on the ice at USHL game

I think someone needs to wash their gear, then they wouldn't have so many bugs attracting bats.

Re: Bat on the ice at USHL game

I wouldn't want to even speculate about what's living in the rafters at Lynah...

Re: Bat on the ice at USHL game

Gamblers turn bat incident into fundraiser for animal sanctuary.

http://www.fox11online.com/dpp/news/gamblers-bat-trick-promotion

Starting with the December 31st game at the Resch Center, fans will be able to purchase a toy bat in the team store for $2. Fans may keep the bats or toss them onto the ice when the Gamblers score their first goal in any future game.

Hopefully this doesn't devolve into a Flordia Panthers kind of situation...

Too late!
