  • The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways. Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar. We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.

Awesome

How many of these did you play as a kid?

Only counting the ones where you need no equipment (since the whole point is kids making their own fun out of nothing):
  • Kiss tag (best game ever invented)
  • Red Rover
  • Poison
  • Freeze tag
  • Jailbreak
  • Duck, duck, goose (lame, only played in school)
This article taught me what "Prisoners base," "Kick the can," and "Ringolevio" were -- my parents told me about playing those games in the 1930s.

Kick the Can is why the smell of Coors Light reminds me of my childhood.
That list in wiki is missing Ghost in the Graveyard (or maybe I just didn't see it)

These two games were frequently played in my neighborhood at night with everyone dressed in black, making it harder to be seen.
