As expected, NCHA alignment announced

Re: As expected, NCHA alignment announced

Will playoffs still be the top 3 teams from each division? Will they have a bracket of 8?

Re: As expected, NCHA alignment announced

NCHA goes 3-2 against the WIAC on the first night, including Trine holding their own against UW Stout despite the loss.

Re: As expected, NCHA alignment announced

Another solid night in the NCHA against the WIAC going 2-1-2.

Trine playing in two one-goal games has been a pleasant surprise. I wouldn't be surprised if they have an opportunity to finish ahead of Aurora, Finlandia, or Lawrence in league play.

Re: As expected, NCHA alignment announced

6 NCHA teams received Top 15 votes this week. The quality of the NCHA should make for a fun season.

Re: As expected, NCHA alignment announced

...junior forward Brett Garvey and freshman defenseman Brett Garvey all have one goal and one assist for two points.

Sounds like CUW's Brett Garvey is a jack of all trades.

Adrian 10-1 win vs. Finlandia. I watched some of the game online, and Finlandia looked lost out there. Adrian was sloppy at times, but it's not difficult to beat a team where some players can't skate backwards.

Trine and Aurora are winless, but still holding their ground. Finlandia is really an outlier in this league.

With four teams in the top 15 this is looking like it's going to be a fun season.
