The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
The East only lost Salem State, and they replaced the Vikings with the Nor'Easters of UNE. No change in number there!
The Northeast, on the other hand, got gutted... and so I'm curious about this as well. The ECAC-NE website still posts the September 2007 revision on the league rules, so I would have to assume there have been no changes. (Of course, we all know what happens when you assume...) Under the old format of 8 teams, all 8 would get in. But that's what the NCHA does, too. So that's not really unreasonable, especially given the expulsion of the D-II teams from the league. It will be interesting to see if they changed anything.
Semifinals, Wednesday, March 3
at higher seeds of quarterfinal winners
(bracket adjusted if there is a first round upset so highest remaining seed plays lowest remaining seed)
Finals, Saturday, March 6
at higher remaining seed
