Another board technical issue

Am I the only one who seems to have odd technical errors with this board?

Just yesterday, I started getting warnings that IE9 is blocking parts of pages being loaded due to then not being secure.

I know this computer blocks a lot of ads, ones not savory in the eyes of who runs the network. And I can't change to any thing other than IE9. Only happens on this particular computer, and I keep doing virus and other maleware sweeps- nothing serious (just some cookies).

There's your issue. You're using IE9.

If it were, then my home computer would have the same problem. That, and I have no choice but to use IE9....

Is the computer at a location with asinine firewall rules?

Make board.uscho.com a trusted site. Crank down the IE security for trusted sites. Then make sure you manage your trusted sites list properly. Problem solved.

I was suspect about google ads, so I went to the settings area that Adsense has, and chose the opt out solution. problem went away.

I figured it was not this particular site, since I've been coming here for years. And google mentioned that they changed privacy rules. That, plus the firewall, ended up with certificate issues. Seemes fixed. Odd, though.

For me there is no option for me to ad links, smileys, or photos. I don't remember how to do that. Where is the post editor?!

help me. I've fallen and can't get up. Google Adsense? I don't even get the ads, I have Extra. I don't have a Google account. any other ideas?

rebooted and its fine now.

return to regularly scheduled programming.
