More than likely will not be here tonight. Was sorry i was here for even part of last night. Some way coach has to light a fire under this team.

Even WRPI couldn't make it, and they didn't have quite as far to travel as UA's broadcaster. :-)

I got to see the last period last night, and they just can't deal with the tight forecheck.
This was not the first time that we ahve seen this. If we can't figure it out, we are going to be in big trouble
I don't expect to be here for most of the game again tonight.

Lets go RED!!!!!!!!!!!

The Engineers win the Whitelaw Trophy....in football with a 10-6 win of Morrisville. Kazanowski with a TD run with 40 seconds left.

Why can't the hockey team snatch victory from the hands of defeat?

You do realize when you compare the 2 programs that since the mid 1990's football has won 11 ECAC bowl games (the most of any team) while only losing 3 times (so overall competing in 14 of the games). Add to this fairly frequent appearances in the NCAA Division III tournament and reaching as far as the semi finals. During that same time period the hockey program has not been able to appear in the post season often at all. For someone like myself who goes back with both programs as far as 1963, when football almost never won a game while hockey was appearing almost yearly near the top of the East ratings, this is almost impossible to grasp. In my entire time as a student in Troy, the football team won one game ( Middlebury College)) and tied one game (Nichols College) while the hockey team was able to beat some of the best teams not only in the east but in the nation.
