End of the 2nd period, 3-2 Alaska. Shots are 23-12 for Michigan.

Alaska scored 2 goals on a 5 on 3 which has been the big difference so far, but Michigan seemed to get some momentum at the end of the period so we could be in for an exciting third.

And that's it, 3-3, we're headed for overtime. First overtime for Michigan in almost 2 years!?

Big flurry for Michigan in the last minute but they couldn't quite get it done. If this game wasn't so massive I'd kind of be excited for the possibility of a shootout!
