The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.
Please note that you can switch between light and dark modes by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right of the main menu bar.
We are hoping that this new platform will prove to be faster and more reliable. Please feel free to explore its features.
Earning another point at least on the weekend would have been nice. I didnt get a chance to listen to the game. Did it sound like the Lakers controlled play for the most part? What were the circumstances of the 2 Alaska goals.
Splitting with the #10 team in the country is nice but they really needed/should have gotten more at home.
Sounded like Lake State controlled most of the first period and played a pretty good defensive second period. Alaska pretty much controlled the third. LSSU left Dion Knelson open in front of the net twice and he made them pay each time.
Sounded like an unfortunate play to end the game. With less than a minute left, two LSSU forwards collided in the Alaska zone, and Alaska picked up the loose puck and broke out with a 4 on 2 to score the goal.
