Afa @ Cc

Re: Afa @ Cc

Joe Howe just made an unbelievable save on a Lammy breakaway. Save of the game so far. Still 1-0 Tigers, PP coming up for AFA (again). This one was questionable for sure.

Re: Afa @ Cc

Lammy stoned on a breakaway.

Speaking of the Lamoureuxes, pick up a copy of last week's SI (the one with Drew Brees on the cover). Nice story on the Lamoureux family (all 6 kids playing D-1 hockey) including the twins on the women's Olympic team. They each had an assist in the 5-1 win over Finland at the World Arena last night. Hope they got to stick around and watch Jacques tonight.

I was talking to one of the AFA families last weekend at Army and they had nothing but great things to say about Lammy and his work ethic. Everybody loved how persistent he was in getting into the AF Academy.

Frank will tell you, you're not going to win many games if you don't win the special teams.

I guess we're back to the whole "moral victory" thing.

Re: Afa @ Cc

Tim Hall makes it 2-0 with a beautiful shot on the PP. Patrick Roy wouldn't have stopped that shot. About 11 minutes left in the third.

Re: Afa @ Cc

Fond memories of the old Garden, Janney, Bourque and Moog. Yelling at Desjardins and Chelios. Still hard to look at a Habs sweater.

Al Pederson (former Bruins D) teaches at the rink in Monument now.

Very cool about Pederson. I gotta say that even living in Boston for just two years has made me hate Montreal.
