32 Saves in one Period?!

Robert Morris' netminder Eric Levine made 32 saves in the second period - all without allowing a goal. I'm thinking this could be a record?

There is, unfortunately, no NCAA record for saves in a period. The record for most saves in a Division I game is 78 by Dick Greenlaw for RPI vs. BU on Dec. 14, 1965.

The NCAA marks the top 20 in this category, which ends at 65. Levine's 58 comes short of this mark, unfortunately.
