2023 Frozen Four Championship Game

Blazing fast game with split second decision making.

Some really nice moves instantly materializing.

OSU needs to capitalize on their face off superiority in the offensive zone.

We'll see if the 'Diggers' legs hold up into the second and third frame after playing in overtime in the late game on Friday. The last couple minutes of the first period were noticeably slower than the rest of the period.

If it can't be the 'Dogs, go Bucks.

Talented play by play guy...adds value.

'Diggers's legs look fresher.!!!..OSU is starting to stand around and watch the action instead of pressing it.

Their decision making is slower and the passes are off...unlike in the first period.

But it is still only a one goal game.

The late overtime game on Friday proved to be a non-issue for the 'Diggers. You'd never know they even played on Friday.

Unrelenting energy and persistence for the entire game except for the last couple minutes of the first period when both teams slowed the pace.

Full marks to UW for continually handcuffing OSU in the defensive zone and limiting OSU's opportunities. They only had a few good opportunities.

Against all odds.

Congratulations to UW.

And this OSU team (this year and last) is orders of magnitude better than I have ever seen in all the years I've been watching this league. A pleasure to watch.

It really just shows how flawed that whole system is when clearly all the eastern teams were inferior to the western teams.

Well, a lot of it was UW was only about a 30% chance each to beat Minnesota and Ohio State. So right there, your overall chance is down below 10%.

I'm sure you didn't mean "all" when comparing the strength of the west to that of the east. But I do think right now there's little question that the top of the west is superior to that of the east.

BTW, big congrats to all of the Badger fans on your teams' championship! From what I was able to gather, while watching on TV, the support given to your team did make a difference in the outcome.
