Out of curiosity, I went to the 'tickets' website this week. It showed that the semis were close to being sold out, and the final was a sellout.
The stands are "something less" than full right now.... what gives?

It is an 'all session ticket' and Wisconsin does "travel well", but not that well. The place is about 80% empty, maybe more.

There was a better crowd at Ridder last year, and Minnesota wasn't even playing. Explain to me again why there were no western sites chosen in the last round of bids?

PGB...you definitely get First Star of the Game in my books!!
I checked the listings a few days ago for BTN and saw nothing so thought that was a no go.
I thought it was free online like it has been for years...no wonder it didn't look encouraging. When I read your post and your reference to BTN I record timed it to the tv on there it was.
I knew it was a good idea to include BTN in my package last year when they reshuffled everything regardless of how seldom I watch it.

UM with 2 posts...can't believe S. Potomak didn't score on that breakaway.
Should we be impressed with the crowd size?

Looks to me like UM is the more skilled team but it's not that obvious to the scoreboard, at least not yet.
Should we be impressed with the crowd size? Although it may improve for the second game.

The total lack of interference calls (both ways) is making me feel right at home.

There's an area at center ice that has some sort of problem, as at least four players have gone down there with no contact.
