(BTW, my local corner store has a "this day in history" kind of notice board on the sidewalk, and it tells me that today is Minnesota's Statehood Day (1858/congrats) and urges me to "hug a Minnesotan!" No way. You guys almost never have really long off-seasons.)

Where else in the world will you find RPI ranked #2 behind #1 Minnesota?! Look at this forum. The Engineers are vying with the Baskers to express the most off-season anxiety/anticipation. How great is this women's game! (Seriously.)
