Cornell Big Red
Which 4 of the GOP candidates will have the highest delegate count going into the convention?

This is a public poll. In addition to the original 17, I threw in Romney, former Maryland governor Bob Ehrlich, and one "other" slot. If you have multiple others, check fewer than 4 and then explain the details in a post.

Poll closes in 14 days (10/5) which is prior to any other debates.

I got Bush, iCarly, Paul and Santorum. I think Carson falls off as the GOP would rather have a woman than a Black Man :p

I don't like any of 'em. If Trump could show some tact, which he won't, he'd be my choice. I DO think that whatever delgate is chosen...Trump's basic ideas will be showcased, which was his whole master plan in the first place.

Note: while financially conservative, and socially liberal, I hate all politicians.

Outside of having Mexico pay for a wall....Trump doesn't have any ideas.

I disagree. It's just lost in the bravado that he has. He's a grifter. Always has been, always will be.

The exporting of jobs, anti-ILLEGAL (key word) immigrants, the wall, etc. Then he goes all Trump on it, and kills any mainstream support he might have gained otherwise.

Re: 2016 GOP Final Four

Trump and Bush are locks for the long haul. They have the biggest war chests. Bush will gradually vacuum up the remainder of the country club Republicans, and Trump will cling to his immigration shtick.

Rubio seems like a good sleeper/compromise pick. In fact, if I were a Republican wheeler-dealer, I'd be doing everything I could to push the idea of a Rubio/Kasich ticket. Republicans have little chance at the White House without Florida and Ohio, and I think that pairing combined with a lack of enthusiasm for Hillary among younger voters, just might give them a decent crack at both.

Re: 2016 GOP Final Four

Its important for Trump to go out on top. Once other people drop out and votes start consolidating, look for him to drop out. He doesn't really want to be president, he wants the publicity of running for president
