St. Clown
Liberal Rebel Scum, apparently
I couldn't find any Vikings thread newer than 2011, so I'm starting a new one.
The Vikes open the free agency period by trading Percy Harvin to Seattle for a #1, and 7 this year, and a 2014 #3. They re-sign Phil Loadholt and cut the aging Antoine Winfield. These are the moves that I know have absolutely happened. I thought that I heard Jerome Simpson was re-signed, too, but I've not seen anything official on that. Nothing's been announced with making actual free agent signings.
I like the Harvin deal. The man became a nuisance in the locker room, even though he was a great player on the field.
Loadholt's re-signing is a good thing as AP likes to run to the right, and Loadholt is a big man and does a decent enough job.
Antoine might come back, but for less money. CB is actually pretty deep for this team, but not a great position for the Vikes.
Given Harvin's departure, I'm expecting WRs in round 1 this year.
