2013 Maccabiah Games Gold Medal game between USA and Canada

Hockey is in the Maccabiah Games AKA The Jewish Olympics for just the second time. The gold medal game is tomorrow afternoon in Israel between the USA and Canada. Several D-3 players are on the American roster including the NESCAC's Ben Chwick (Colby), Max Greenwald (Middlebury),; the SUNYAC: Josh Bluman (Buffalo State) and ECAC East: Dalton Weinstein(Skidmore) are also represented.

Team Canada also has some former D-III players in Casey Fazekas (Babson '10), Eric Statim (SUNY Plattsburgh '11) and Kevin Willer (Elmira '11).

man wish I would have known about this, would have got in shape a tried out, is 48 to old for these games:eek:..:D

mathew hershkovitz,also played at Elmira for a yr I believe.

Actually no it's not too old! There's a whole separate divsion for 40+ (Masters). The USA beat Canada in the Masters final today for the gold medal. Team USA included Amherst alum John Linder ('80).

aaahhhh masters,played over 40 but bailed the last few yrs to busy...maybe ill look into that,good excuse to travel....best of luck to the USA Mazaltov:D

I don't think it is in the dictionary, but there is an organization named Culturewise, so I think you're okay. Maybe culturally would be an option?
