I'll say it if you won't
Thought I'd start a new thread rather than having half a dozen floating around all talking about the same game.
This should be another great WCHA matchup. Goaltending will be the key again today as well as special teams. The Bulldogs MUST stay out of the penalty box, but otherwise play like they did yesterday to grab the trophy and more importantly the autobid to the NCAAs. If they can smother the Gophers offense like they did with the Badgers yesterday, control the neutral zone and put an outrageous amount of pressure on Raty, they could do it.
As far as the rodents go, is this the end of the seven-year drought? Every season they seem to have the tools, but they come up short in the post-season. It happens to every team. I'm secretly hoping the drought ends next year, but who knows?
