With the board change over, my previous thread about a cruise out of Tampa has been lost. So, here it is again.
As a reminder, I suggested a few itineraries, of which, the majority ruled for one. The cruise will start on March 31, 2012, from Tampa, Florida, and end on April 5, 2012, which is the same time the Frozen Four starts.
The cruise is this one- http://www.royalcaribbean.com/finda...=1120331&date=201202&selectedCurrencyCode=USD
Well, for sure some of us will be on that exact trip, as Mrs Alfa and I just booked it (we were just on a long weekend cruise with Royal Caribbean, and took advantage of on board booking...).
What does this mean to you? Only that this will happen.
I will still be finding a tavel agent to book this through, so that we have more time to organize as a group.
But save up your money! If we get 9 cabins, we will get one person free. More than that, I'm not sure.
The cruise is open to anyone here, or any hockey fans who would like to turn this into a full week of vacation. This is a great way to travel with friends- both real and virtual- as you get to do whatever you want, and meet up for dinner. On every cruise, there's a Caribbean night, and on that night, I'm hoping that we all wear our team jersies.
Oh, and if any of you decide to go on a cruise on Royal Caribbean before this, please remember to join Crown and Anchor- there are some minor benefits... Minor, sure, but useful.
Feel free to discuss, again, I'll put up more details as they become more and more real.
