Early, but perfect thread title. Usually I wait until training camp opens, or very close to it. But we'll roll with this one.

Watching the Play60 commercial for the Lions on NFL network. At the rate we're going, Barry Sanders is going to get a DUI for driving that bus.

We're going to end up being the mid-2000's Bengals.

One great year after over a decade of failure, four billion arrests, some mediocre years followed by our franchise QB demanding to be traded because he's sick of being surrounded by idiots.

7-9 looks about right to me. Recent trends in the NFL are against us. We had a few big comebacks that I don't think are happening this year. The secondary is likely to be a mess again, and I don't have any faith in the running game, either.

Oh, and Jeff Backus hurt his thumb today. No idea on severity of injury. I still think we have O-line problems, Reiff or no Reiff.

The Tech fan in me agrees - maybe 8-8 though.

Big thing for me is that I don't think we will surprise anyone this year, including us, the fans.
