For those of you who have been voting previously, here is the thread to post your "ballot" of top-10 teams. If you have never posted before, but would like to, here is where you post your top-10. If you would like your ballot to be counted, make sure to have your top-10 posted in this thread by Monday (Nov 7) by 1pm Eastern.
Here is my top 10...
1. Minnesota - While not perfect, Minnesota has been the best team to this point in the season. The Gophers are going to have to continue to improve their game if they wish to stay on top, but for now, they are #1.
2. Boston College - While the Eagles dropped a game @ UMass this weekend, they are still playing very well for a team that usually saves its best for March and April.
3. Notre Dame - The Irish traveled to Marquette and came away with two draws...not too bad.
4. Merrimack - The only unbeaten team left in college hockey, Merrimack just continues to find a way to win games as shown by their comeback win on Saturday against Northeastern.
5. Colorado College - A split @ Nebraska Omaha is nothing to be ashamed of, but the way they lost Friday was disappointing. Their Saturday performance though showed that CC is very good this year.
6. Western Michigan - The Broncos split @ Yost, something that is not very easily done.
7. Michigan - Despite a Friday loss, the Wolverines came out strong on Saturday to salvage a split on the weekend.
8. Minnesota Duluth - The Bulldogs went down to Denver and played well. In return they received three points.
9. Union - The Dutchmen allowed only one goal on the weekend en route to two ECAC wins.
10. Ferris State - Ferris got back to their winning ways with a sweep on the road at Bowling Green.
Honorable Mention:
Nebraska Omaha
Northern Michigan
Michigan Tech
New Hampshire
Dartmouth
Air Force
As always, comments are appreciated and please post your top-10s.
