For those of you who have been voting previously, here is the thread to post your "ballot" of top-10 teams. If you have never posted before, but would like to, here is where you post your top-10. If you would like your ballot to be counted, make sure to have your top-10 posted in this thread by Tuesday (Jan 3) by 1pm Eastern.
Here is my top 10...
1. Minnesota Duluth - We'll see how the Bulldogs deal with the long break with a tough road series at WMU.
2. Ohio State - The Buckeyes may have caught some by surprise in the first half, but teams will be ready in the second.
3. Minnesota - Not having Rau and Bjugstad hurt this past weekend, but the Gophers should be fine the rest of the way.
4. Colorado College - A surprise loss against Air Force, but the Tigers came back against Union w/o Schwartz.
5. Colgate - The Raiders have been pretty consistent this season, and it will be fun to watch them in the second half.
6. Massachusetts-Lowell - Lowell has the talent and drive to make a push in the Hockey East Standings.
7. Boston College - The Eagles struggled at times this weekend, but will be a player for the Hockey East Title.
8. Merrimack - The Warriors have struggled late, but will look to turn that around this coming weekend at BU.
9. Northeastern - The Huskies are arguably the hottest team in the country right now, and have won @ Michigan, Notre Dame and Minnesota, which will be key for Northeastern's Pairwise hopes.
10. Notre Dame - The Irish dominated a depleted and reeling BU squad, and getting Tynan back will only help the Irish in the second half.
Honorable Mention:
Union
Michigan
Michigan State
Cornell
Denver
As always, comments are appreciated and please post your top-10s.
