For those of you who have been voting previously, here is the thread to post your "ballot" of top-10 teams. If you have never posted before, but would like to, here is where you post your top-10. If you would like your ballot to be counted, make sure to have your top-10 posted in this thread by Tuesday (Dec 13) by 1pm Eastern.

Here is my top 10...

1. Minnesota Duluth - Three points in Madison is a very successful weekend for any team.
2. Ohio State - Despite the split to a rising Miami squad, the Buckeyes stay at #2 due to the lack of success from the teams below them.
3. Minnesota - While the Gophers struggled at times against Tech, they managed 2 points, and with the top 10 not having a good week, move up a spot in my top 10.
4. Colorado College - The Tigers fall one spot in my top 10 due to a split with Anchorage at home.
5. Boston University - The Terriers have been playing very well over the last few weeks.
6. Merrimack - The Warriors drew with Colgate, a solid ECAC squad so far this season.
7. Boston College - The Eagles dropped a close one to Lowell, a team that has impressed many this season.
8. Cornell - The Big Red are atop the ECAC standings, and look like a team capable of doing big things this spring.
9. Union - The Dutchmen handled RPI Saturday, and despite some early struggles, look like a team that will challenge for an ECAC title again this spring.
10. Michigan Tech - The Huskies proved that they are for real, beating Minnesota at Mariucci for the first time this season.

Honorable Mention:
Michigan State
Notre Dame
Northeastern
Massachusetts Lowell
Colgate

As always, comments are appreciated and please post your top-10s.

Re: 2011-2012 NCAA Week 10 Rankings

1. Minnesota Duluth - 3 point weekend on the road against a good squad
2. Ohio State - May have split, but I still think they're one of the best teams in the country
3. Minnesota - No one to move into their spot...
4. Colorado College - Excited for the weekend series against Cornell in earlier January. Should be a great series.
5. Boston University - Just wow...
6. Merrimack - Good draw at Colgate, definitely overreacted last week
7. Lowell - Nice win against BC
8. Cornell - We'll find out a lot about them before the end of January.
9. Michigan Tech - 2 points on the road in Minny is always good
10. Colgate - No shame in a tie w/ Merrimack without Wagner

Outside Looking in: Michigan State, BC, Notre Dame, Northeastern, Union
Special Honorable Mention: The people at UAH for potentially saving their program. Let's get you guys into the AHA or the new WCHA if possible. We don't want to lose you again.

I can't believe so many have MN still in the top 5. They lost a game at home to TECH, fer christ's sake! Should be no higer than 7.

Probably, but most of the other teams lost as well.

PWR is 7 I believe.

Re: 2011-2012 NCAA Week 10 Rankings

Thank you to those who have voted. I also wanted to remind people that voting does not close this week until tomorrow at 1pm eastern. Feel free to post your vote.

Also, College Hockey Weekly has been trying to get things situated after the loss of our web guy. I will be running the web site for the next few weeks until we find a permanent guy. There should be some more content on the site and the return of the Greatest Teams of All-Time. So, basically, keep a look out on the site. The Power Rankings will be posted tomorrow, as I finish up law school for the semester today and will not be able to make the update until tomorrow.

Re: 2011-2012 NCAA Week 10 Rankings

How did you leave out MTU, UND and SCSU?

It's pretty simple. I thought OSU should be number one, I thought Merrimack was too low on most boards, and I dropped Minnesota to 11th for losing to Tech. Anyone that loses to Tech doesn't deserve to be in the top 10 in anything.
