First of all congrats to the RIT team on a fine tourney.
Where was all this chest thumping before the tourney started? It kinda lame to start a thread after the fact only because you won.
This should be titled the "We actually won a tourney so come and praise us"
And its not sour grapes because Vermont didnt lose to RIT.

Say what you will, but its pretty classless of USCHO to have all kinds of coverage for the other tournaments and games, but to completely ignore any coverage of the Catamount Cup in both their Thursday and Friday recaps. Of course as the winners we are more annoyed than you, I suppose, but you should be annoyed that your schools tournament essentially got a media blackout around here. I don't necessarily think it's getting ignored because of who won, but I do think the fact that we won is noteworthy because we were kind of the underdogs from the AHA, and as an unranked team we beat two ranked teams.

And thank you for your hospitality, everybody was very nice, from the fans to the event staff and especially the door usher who steered us towards the Vermont Sports Pub for dinner.

I saw the trophy. Nobody was there to accept it on RIT's behalf.
