I believe the Canadian WJC roster is supposed to be announced today as well, but I haven't seen that yet...

DU recruit Jason Zucker is also on the list, so add a future NCAA player to the college list.

Michigan recruits Jon Merrill and <strike> Jack Campbell </strike> are also on the list

So there's one more player for the college list.

My wife's dad is really good friends with Jack's dad (she grew up in Port Huron).
He told me last time we saw them that Jack was really excited about going to UM. I wonder what happened there...

I'm not familiar with the process...why is this a preliminary roster? When is it finalized?

It is a preliminary roster because they will practice as a team in Grand Forks and play an exhibition against Czech Republic, then have final cuts. Last year's roster was made up of 13 forwards and 7 d, so I assume that will be the case again this year.

The U.S. team will play an exhibition game against UND on Dec. 19th.

My guess is that Fowler, Gardiner, Moore and Carlson are shoe-ins. I think Warso will get a spot as well, so that would leave two more spots. These two spots should go to two of Ramage, Nicastro and Donovan.
