FYI: High Altitude Camp while small in size (usually 4 teams), is an excellent opportunity to meet with some prominent D1 & D3 coaches (due to the small size). Worth checking out if you don't mind the trip to Colorado (very nice in the summer time!)

I was asked by a friend who's daughter just got invited to the Hockey Night In Boston Showcase what I thought of this showcase. I don't know anything about it in terms of calibre, cost, quality, etc... Can anyone give any insight?

No college coaches. Big rosters. Expensive. Waste of time.

Waste of time and Money. No colleges, teams too big

I heard the Chowder Cup is much better competition and more scouts.

How well scouted is the Prospects Tournament in Toronto? Is worth the trip, time, and $$$?

Used to be reasonably well scouted. Not sure about recent years, have not been there in a while. It is a good tourney to attend for kids heading into their soph or junior year in HS, to get themselves on the radar. It is similar in setup to the showcase event at NAHA in July.
