Re: $15 Ephs vs Nichols updates

Nichols had their chances. Each team had a few decent scoring chances in the first period. It looked like the goalie was out of position for the first two goals by Williams, especially the second goal. The second period was dominated by williams on the ice, but they couldn't get anything into the back of the net, and the Nichols defense really minimized the good scoring chances.
The third period saw some early good saves by Nichols, then they actually controlled play for a while. They had two prime opportunities that were put aside and finally, they scored off of a loose puck to tighten the game. but instead of putting more pressure, they actually seemed to become complacent for a minute or two. Williams did put a clamp on almost all chances by Nichols, except for maybe two where their goalie made some solid saves.
give credit to Nichols, they hung with Williams, and a bounce of two could have lead to a tie or a win. They really minimized the quality scoring chances with some strong D when it was needed.
