Not much defense, after one period Plattsburg 3 - Middlebury 2. Midd scored first in under a minute.

First goal was a cheapie. Plattsburgh goalie was replaced by Finney after the second goal (Didn't Finney used to be the starter?).

Lakers down 1-0 after one period...ppg in the last two min.... Lakers lead shots 13-9 and had the run of play for most of the period...Lakers felt the goal was off a high stick, but the refs disagreed....spirited period by both teams.....

4-2 Plattsurg over Middlebury after 2 periods. Midd had the territorial advantage jn the second but the Birds made their shots count.Both teams moving and passing the puck well.

2-2 after two periods....it's getting a bit chippy at The Aud...

Finney was the starter when Rouleau was injured last season, but it's basically been a near-consistent rotation when both are healthy. I expect Finney to start tomorrow.

Lakers lose 3-2 bad give away killed them.......Lakers had some good chances didnt finish........

Ah, makes sense. I remember seeing Finney a lot last season. That would explain it.
