One last attempt. If we don't get more than a token number of responses, I'm out because this group no longer interested.

Anyway, as usual, Ray, "Mr. UCHC" Biggs and the gang on the other site have the viddy links here

Redlight is coaching in Worcester tonight and DC's 2016 POTY, Phil Satin, will be making his NCAA debut (fingers crossed) tonight as the Statesmen visit the Domes. Plus Clarkson is playing Minnesota on BTN2Go, so it is multiple screen night pour moi.

I will be reading, posting if the mood strikes me and I'm ready to go.

Potsdam and St. Mike's tied at one at the end of one.

Potsdam scored early with a perfectly executed 2x1. Joey Sollazzo scored.

St. Michael's tied it on the power play with 4.1 seconds left in the period by Brandon Mitchell who was wide open in the slot.

Cardinals 6 - Andre Laurendeau 0

You know you are on the border when the season's visiting team with the shortest travel distance is your international scrimmage.

St. Michael's leads Potsdam, 3-2, after two.

Potsdam took the 2-1 lead on the power play with a slapper from the left point by Mike Sweeney.

St. Mike's Sam D'Antuono tied it.

Potsdam nearly killed off a two-minute 5x3, but with six seconds left in those penalties and 15 seconds left in the period, Patrick Doherty scored.

Slaves lead NU 2-0 with 6 min left in period 2. NU not looking like defending champs at this point.

Hobart - Elmira tied 1-1 after 2 periods. 3rd is now underway.

Period ends 2-0.

I don't think NU looks that bad. There's been a few sloppy moments (fumbled pass between Ostepchuk and whoever behind the net, passes to no one), but that's a bit expected with so many new players (seems like our entire powerplay is freshmen). But, for the most part, looks to me like great goaltending and bad luck has kept the Cadets scoreless. George said it on the broadcast and I agree: it feels like if they can get one then they can get a bunch.

Andre Laurendeau breaks in on a powerplay goal 16 minutes into the third - now 9-1.

Boomerangs today, kangaroos tomorrow.
