I guess someone has to start this.
It seems RPI will be limping into Canton tonight. If Kasdorf is out, it is going to be a tall order to compete with SLU.
Just play hard for sixty minutes or more.

    lets go red!!!!!!!!!!!

Saw Seth Appert's interview last night. I heard the part about Clarkson (and Union) running at Kasdorf. I also heard the part about resilience. It will be a tall order, but tonight we play for pride and points.

    Play our team game.

    Let's go, Red!

Unlikely I will be able to get back in time for this one. A real test against a very tough opponent. Normally that statement could be used in either direction but we are indeed limping into Canton and this time it is not because of injuries we have gotten in the past during practice, stepping off a curb, or anything like that. It is because of on ice hits that might border on intentionally trying to harm. I know it is early in the season but our game statistics do not seem to show other teams getting called for major penalties and I believe we are still called for more penalties than our opponents whether we are leading or behind in a game. Just thinking out loud.

In football, RPI beats Springfield. More importantly, Hobart beat SLU. If we take the shoes and Merchant Marine wins, we win the league. If SLU wins next week, they win the league.

As i had posted on the main thread, exceedingly difficult for us to win the championship. Although Union is an overall 0-9 and 0-6 in the league, Merchant marine is not all that much better being 2-4 in the league and 3-5 overall with a wide negative in points scored versus allowed. Besides the game is up at SLU and they have not lost there this year. In any case, one of the most successful RPI football seasons in a long time.

I see that Goodman is also on the charts, he was not listed on last night’s charts so maybe it’s a wait & see deal with Kazzy.
Brandon Pirri: Turk would give it to Jagr. That's awesome! Jagr's untouchable. And he would give it to Jagr.

RPI and Clarkson tied 1-1 after 2 periods in the womens game, with shots 31-6 for #4 Clarkson. On the womens score update thread Vicb has described Selander as the Kasdorf of womens hockey . Hope that doesn't mean that Clarkson is going to run her in the third period .

Do you lay down the gauntlet or do you throw down the gauntlet? Or do you run the gauntlet? I am not big on gauntlets.
