What a ridiculous weekend. Legitimate four way battle for that home-ice quarterfinal spot now.

There's plenty of time for all of them to lose another 2-3 games.

Clarkson, Cornell, BC, BU and Princeton - one of them is going to get home ice for the NCAAs, and one of them (at least) won't make the tournament at all. And we have no idea which is which.

          Crazy.

(Adding, if you were ever going to argue for a 12 team tournament, this would be your year.)

I did a bracketology even though things are changing with pretty much every game played, because why not: https://www.bcinterruption.com/bosto...a-northeastern

What? We don't get ice cream with our bracketology??? I'm going to blame the NCAA for that!!! Otherwise, thanks Grant.

Yes! Nicole Haase did some harassing to the powers that be to finally get them to correct their numbers -- they even have the eligible teams right!

But they don't even mention ice cream, so your place will always be secure.

Just for kicks, here's another hypothetical BCS Rankings:

Rank | USCHO | USA | Computer | BCS Rating | Team Name
                            1 | 0.9867 | 0.9895 | 0.9500 | 0.9754 | Minnesota
                            2 | 0.9133 | 0.9105 | 0.9500 | 0.9246 | Wisconsin
                            3 | 0.7800 | 0.8000 | 0.8000 | 0.7933 | Northeastern
                            4 | 0.6400 | 0.6158 | 0.6500 | 0.6353 | Clarkson
                            5 | 0.6800 | 0.6842 | 0.5250 | 0.6297 | Cornell
                            6 | 0.3800 | 0.4526 | 0.5750 | 0.4692 | Boston College
                            7 | 0.3600 | 0.4053 | 0.3000 | 0.3551 | Princeton
                            8 | 0.3067 | 0.3158 | 0.4000 | 0.3408 | Boston University
                            9 | 0.2133 | 0.1263 | 0.2000 | 0.1799 | Ohio State
                            10 | 0.2267 | 0.1842 | 0.0500 | 0.1536 | Colgate
                            11 | 0.0133 | 0.0158 | 0.0750 | 0.0347 | Providence
                            12 | 0.0000 | 0.0000 | 0.0250 | 0.0083 | Minnesota Duluth

The top 5 are the same as the PairWise, but turn of the century college football would switch around the logjam of teams from 6-12.
