The referees did every thing they could to give Clarkson a chance to win this game.
Great performance by the Engineers. They played 60 minutes of energized hockey and came out on top.
Now it is off to SLU and another inspired performance.

That deserves a smiley or 3, but I will refrain.

Why can't we ever get such hometown refs?

The only ref that is from Troy is Alex Dell....

Didn't C. J. Hanafin serve as an ECAC referee?

What happened near the end of the game was not unexpected. Over the many years i have watched the games up there, I can say that everything that can be called against us in the third period, will be called. The result however is so unexpected that i spilled my drink!! Watching on ESPN+ one can only say we played one of our best road games in the past decade. Well done boys!!! now can we even begin to dream about a North Country sweep?? Never a likely scenario but we have the tougher game in our pocket already and now have to just play smart and give it the full 60 minute effort- Go Red!!!!!!!!!!

He did. But is he still a referee?

Big win tonight. We scored three against CCT tonight... In recent years we have struggled to even score against them. How many games has it taken us to score a total of three goals against them?

Stay away from the Pizza Hut in Canton for the post game meal.

Congrats to the guys on beating the over-rated CCT team. Marshall must have stood on his head in the 3rd period. Unfortunately I had to go to a board meeting tonight, so I missed the game entirely.
Looking forward to watching the game tomorrow night. Let’s go RED!

Great win, Marshall hasn't started in a while so he must've practiced well this week. I was surprised he got the start. Let's keep it going tomorrow in Canton, it will be interesting to see who gets the start in goal. Glad to see DiGrande getting some playing time.
