As my father, a UVM alum/fan said, "I would not want to be the losing coach of tonight's game."

Too funny but true...both teams have solid goaltenders...my feeling is 3 goals by any team wins it. Going with Maine 3 Vermont 1....good luck on that --- With that said both Programs are in need of change behind each bench(imo)

Maine 1-0. JSS scores his third of the season.

Another dumb penalty. 3.1 seconds left in the period.

Still 1-0 Maine after 2, 1:57 of PK time for the Black Bears to open the third. Shots 20-18 for UVM.

1-1, Butala fails to clear and UVM cashes in.

I’m happy Maine won, but don’t really understand why Thiessen didn’t play where they were just playing Vermont.

Is this the best start to a season for Red going by win/loss record?

Because there's only one game this weekend and they can't both play in net?

Haha, cuz Maine is such a powerhouse they could have easily handled UVM without playing Swayman? Okay, sure.... Admittedly, we suck, but the goal is to win games.
