This is a Scorcese epic, for sure. All star cast. The acting was great, I have a nitpick with the digital de-aging of the actors, sometimes it looked too artificial, but that is just looking for a fault. Those who are familiar with mafia movies will pick up on the code speak INSTANTLY. Those who are not, it may take little bit. Goodfellas laid it out for you. They don't explain it as much in this one (the obvious example is "I heard you paint houses").

3.5 hours long, meticulous, and worth it. Highly recommend. De Niro/Pacino are the big 'uns, but Pesci is a real diamond in the rough here.

      It's similar to the cartel-speak:
"There's an issue with the shirts."
      "What's the issue?"
      "They weren't 100% starched."
"Ok, we'll take care of that issue."

        The Irishman is ****ing great!!!

        Two points of contention:
        1. That Joe Gallo story is bs. I suspect Chuck Brandt encouraged embellishment from Frank. No way FS was involved.
        2. That whole mafia killed Kennedy is also bull****. I wish more people would speak up when obvious propaganda is passed off as truth.

Other than that, which i blame chuck Brandt for, the movie is fantastic.

DeNiro’s best work since Casino. Pesci is a diamond and Pacino is his usual greatness.
Everything in its right place, Wisconsin Hockey National Champs!

"but you're not as confused as him are you. it's not your job to be as confused as Nigel". Tap pt 1.

"I think it's ****ing stock. What--? Which part of that is unclear to you? I think it sounds stock to my ears. I mean, do you want me to write it down?" Tap Pt. 2

        Who???! So What!!!! Big Deal!!!!

The Team That Changed The World:

Documentary about the Harlem Globetrotters. It could've had a little more depth, but a quality 60 minute doc. This is older, 2005, dunno how I missed it the first time around. To this day, many people don't realize how GOOD you have to be at the fundamentals of bouncyball to realize how good the 'Trotters really are. To get on that team, you don't only have to be GREAT you ALSO have to be a showman. I digress, and will state that the boundaries that this team broke down, is really impressive.

And the mafia/JFK connection is plausible, IMO. I'm not convinced either way.

Knives Out. Solid A. Funny and well done. A throwback movie -- intelligent plot, good writing, and geared to adults instead of 20-somethings. Could have been done in the 1950s.

Actually, it's quite good. Arguably the rebound movie Rian Johnson needed after all the SW fanboi flak he got for TLJ.

Had a few issues with Craig trying on the "Southern Fried Genius" accent, but 85% of the time he gets it right.

CSI KFC. I'm convinced that is a send-up of Peter Ustinov's horrific Belgian accent as Poirot back in the day.

This is the first Rian Johnson movie I've respected since Brick. He should stick to these.

Belgians have an accent? Isn't it either "French" or "Dutch" depending on what part of the country you're in?

It's French but it's different. The French despise it (of course).

If you ever want to amuse yourself ask a Metropol Parisian what they think of Quebecois. Do this from a safe distance.
