But look for North Dakota to get better each year - they are recruiting well and I believe they will pose a serious challenge to the "big three" in the near future. And despite tonight's score every team will need to bring their "A" game THIS year, or they'll run the risk of getting upset (as BU learned last weekend).
Year by year we all keep/kept looking for that ("...to get better each year","...pose a serious challenge to the 'big three' ")...hasn't happened.

Now take Syracuse-seems to be (happening)!

Surprising for sure. Not so much Quinny 3-0, as they were knocking on the top 10 door, but the 0-3 for Clarky is surpising. However, only one of those losses is against a lower ranked team, so a bit too early to worry. They will face PC tomorrow, another knock on the top 10 door team.

Last year Quinny had the great rookie goaler. This year they have a rookie that can put the puck in the net. If both those players continue to be hot, look for Quinnipiac to take a serious run towards a top three placing in the ECAC.

Both teams have a talented freshman class, but I think the returning players for Minnesota have an edge. If they play again in 5 months, I'd guess that both teams will look quite a bit different. Still, 5-0, 3-0, I think we'd take that every time out, no questions asked. Way to go Gophers! I just hope Westy is okay ...
Clarkson-Smarkson: Other than Cornell and Mercyhurst are there any (other) women's teams in the east this year?
        Maybe not...

BC is going to be legit this year. Might be the best team we've ever had.

Hurst is having a thier way with the BlackBears again today. Mercyhurst 5, Maine 1 after two. SOG are 35-5...Yikes

EDIT: Mercy-fully this one is in the books. Hurst takes this one 6-1 and outshoots the BlackBears 51-15 for a 2 day shot total of 125-37.

Clarkson outshot Friars 31 to 18 but Lacasse was big and Friars seemed to create and convert a few great opportunities.
