"The party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command." George Orwell, 1984
"One does not simply walk into Mordor. Its Black Gates are guarded by more than just Orcs. There is evil there that does not sleep, and the Great Eye is ever watchful. It is a barren wasteland, riddled with fire and ash and dust, the very air you breathe is a poisonous fume." Boromir
"Good news! We have a delivery." Professor Farnsworth
Same here. Sounds like it is supposed to happen starting tomorrow. The clouds have finally vacated the area, and the next few rainshowers/storms we are going to get aren't expected to just hang out and spin right on top of us. We'll see if they're right this time.
So they're saying that the killing of Osama is a "where you were" moment, that you'll always remember where you were, and can tell your kids about it. I heard of it via text message, while in bed with a girl I met at Toby Keith's the night before. This is going to be an awkward story, if I ever end up having kids.
Having a clear conscience just means you have a bad memory or you had a boring weekend.

I hope so. I'm itching to take the top down on the Fifth.
And from the last thread: cc to goldy: Bro Gin is taking a break from the boards for a bit.
Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.

No. You got a text while you were home. What's the problem?

"Wait.... wha??" Sort of moment.
I saw something from one of my friends on FB, that said "Obama is going to speak on TV soon, and it's not about Ghadafi." If that didn't pique your interest, I don't know what would have. And then to see the news channels not even reporting on the rumors, and not finding anything on the 'net, until the last minute...it was odd.
In fact, I found out about it on the internet before the TV channels started talking about it. Technology is a wondrous thing.
