We will know after we see the selection, maybe. For what its worth, I think Castleton is in (and not the last team in, either).

I have to agree with this assumption.

Agreed. Based on what the committee's have been showing us in the rankings the last few weeks, it looks like:

            1st Round
            Curry @ Platts
            Bowdoin @ Norwich
            Neumann @ Castleton

            QF's
            Hamline @ SNC
            Adrian @ Elmira
            Neumann/Castleton @ Oswego
            Bowdoin/Norwich @ Curry/Platts

Of course, it could turn out to be something very different. I just hope they don't screw SNC with a play-in like they have done in the past.

NU Prof- Castleton does not win on any of the comparisons with the West 3-4 teams with the exception of Win%.

They play in an inferior conf. in the east. The wins they have not be enought to offset their other areas of weakness. The Western teams will beat them in the other areas

If they get in, it will for sure be last team.

That's my take - Webb will publish my thoughts on d3wh later on today, but that's my take.

Adrian and Elmira are 499 Miles apart
Will the extra 6 miles to the Domes throw a monkey wrench in this?

The extra six miles is actually towards Adrian, as far as the NCAA is concerned. So no, it will not.

Fixed my post. Sorry. Obviously I didn't think Elmira would also send a JV in Oswego's place.

I thought maybe you were giving Elmira two games in one day? Oswego getting shipped to Minnesota a little early for anyone's likeness.

So then maybe they should stop the pretense of West and East. One set of National rankings and seed all 11 teams 1 thru 11.

Never mind this is the NCAA. Getting us to talk about them is much more important.
