Is 'Diva really about to go to the BLC luncheon? Yes, 'Diva is really heading that way soon. What the heck is wrong with 'Diva these days?

Wear a Northern jersey. Jamie likes it when fans of others teams wear their jersey to BLC luncheons. CHA knows from first hand experience.

CHA wore a Gopher jersey to the 2008 Winter Carnval BLC luncheon. The Gopher weren't even playing Tech it was the Badgers.

After the luncheon was over I went to go talk to Jamie because I had a question for him. When I was approaching him he gave me this funny look and said what are you doing here wearing THAT jersey.

After CHA explained that CHA had been a Gopher fan he's whole life, drove up from the Twin Cities to experience Winter Carnival and that CHA loves college hockey and has traveled to 25 different college hockey rinks Jamie quickly changed his tune and said that it's great for college hockey to have fans like you. It was quite funny. CHA is surprised Jamie didn't fall from backpedaling so quickly.

T'was the night before Carnival, and all through the land Not a student
was smiling, no snow was at hand. The grand month long statues all mighty
and tall Were all shrunk by the sun and looked stupid and small.
A lone senior looked on, a tear in his eye, His Carnival looked lost, it
would just pass him by The snow was all melting, awash in the streets Like
a winters wet dream, absorbed by the sheets.
When from down 41 there arose such a clatter, Like a big heavy log truck,
but louder and madder. "To Jim's" some one yelled and they all made a
dash, Leaving everything behind, except I.D.s and cash.
As the first student came, he shouted "What luck!" For no one was parked
there, but a red and white truck. When up from the masses came a deafening
cheer, for this truck was special, this truck brought them beer.
The driver was not Santa, or a cute Easter Bunny, Not even Curt Tompkins,
though that would be funny. Yes out stepped the driver, with a wink of his
eye, For everyone knew him, t'was the Budweiser Guy!!

Our Hero got out and he unlocked the locks;
for the cargo was beer and wine in a box.
In clear or dark bottles and in big kegs it came,
And as it rolled off the truck he called them by name.
Drink Molson, Drink Blatz, Drink sweet Lebatt Blue Drink Killians, Drink
Rolling Rock, drink all the best brew! Take it back to your fraternities,
take it back to your houses, Take wine for the girls, to get your hands up
their blouses!
The students drank hard all through the night; Their speech was now
slurred, they soon lost their sight. They drank like huge rock stars with
no bill to be paid; The freshmen passed out, the coeds got laid.
This Carnival was awesome, it was way above par. The students held down
Jack Daniels, they held down PER. From distillers down in Dixie to brewers
of the West; This Carnival with no snow, this Carnival was best.
Our champion in his truck, lays down on the horn; He's back on the road,
just him, No-Doze and porn. You could hear him exclaim, now that Carnival
was over, "Best wishes to all, and good luck getting sober!"

'Diva thinks that she and Flashy might have been the only two sober people at tAll-Nighter.

Why in the H-E-Double Hockey-Sticks where you there SOBER???

'Diva didn't even bring the NMU jersey with her. Usually, 'Diva doesn't bring anything NMU up here unless there's a Tech/NMU game of some nature. However, since she was packing in a hurry, she grabbed the wrong grey sweatshirt, and was actually wearing her NMU Band sweatshirt during tAll-Nighter. Needless to say, her black fleece stayed on at all times during the event, even when indoors.

wolverineTrumpet is tempted to get a group to yell that with her this weekend while in Wisconsin.

She did yell "Ohio resident" last night while in Ohio at the BGSU players that took penalties. She also enjoyed calling one a "hooker" after he took a hooking penalty.

wT hopes everyone enjoys carnival. She is leaving work early and headed to Wisconsin.

'Diva was rather disappointed that Flashy did not introduce her to Jamie. She does, however, agree with whoever said he was good looking, as he is NPB.
