I've been down here for almost five years and have never been in IKEA. You're here five days and already been there. Nice!

Despite the fact that I showered this morning, I'm now craving taking another shower. I can't though because I just finished painting the bathroom a little while ago.

Once I had a connection from Miami to Ft. Myers. It was one of those little planes, maybe 14 seats, 7 on each side. I was in the front, and the curtain wasn't closed into the cockpit, so I could see in. This was in late June, so it was typical Florida weather: thunderstorms all over the place, but none of them lasting very long. I could see the color radar screen in the cockpit, and to me it looked like wall-to-wall storms. And the pilots just steered us in and out, no big problem. It was cool to get a glimpse of how they were getting us around there.

If you lived closer, you could come to my place and shower.

I'm hoping you mean the Asian ladies, but have a disturbing mental image of a former band director who once wore a trenchcoat, and nothing else.

Instead of showering, I dirtied up some dishes. Made spinach ravioli (from a frozen bag) and created a sauce of sauteed walnuts, garlic, basil, oregano, and French thyme in some grapeseed oil.
