Love, love, love the title of the new thread.

Wow, if you don't want to have your day ruined, don't turn on CNN. Very sad. Positive vibes to the people of Haiti, as if they haven't suffered enough.

The old DU thread is dead. Long live the new one...

going to step up and join this new thread!
I'm not liking the schedule this year with so much downtime for the fans between home games!
lurking on the previous thread I agree with the Bozak theory for Salazar. Great players make those around them great as well... look at what happened to Hejduk with Forsberg left.

I agree that having a great setup man helps, but for Salazar not to score a single goal this year is brutally disappointing. His decreased output is one big reason why DU is a 3 GPG offense and not a 3.5 GPG offense.

I also hope Gwoz spends some time on getting the power play back in synch...

Yeah, we gotta get to the bottom of this. I see 3 possibilities:

1- He is in the Gwoz dog house (so he doesn't get as much playing time)
2- Sophomore jinx (reason for being in dog house)
3- Missing perfect feeds from Bozak. (he has highly skilled line mates this season too)
                4- other? (girls)

I don't think benching him due to lack of productivity is the answer though. I would think this would make it worse. He's obviously a proven goal scorer.
It will happen as long as he gets the chance.

Coach Steve Miller filling in for Gwoz in the weekly press conference on Pioneer Vision yesterday. He starts at about the 12 minute mark after b-ball coach Joe Scott. He touches on a variety of issues including the NCAA/CHL issue, last weekend's UAA series, the upcoming Wisconsin series, the WJC tourney with kudos to Donovan and Zucker and Matt Carle's selection to the All Decade Team. It is a free webcast.

There were never any convictions handed out. Maybe a few suspensions, but thats it.

Love the Thread Title. I'm going to get some T-Shirts and/or Signs made for the Minnesota series with the slogan on it.

Vizoroo came up with it a few days ago and Swami ran with it
