On the Scanner Radio app the numbers of listeners to various Hennepin and Ramsey County public safety feeds are in the thousands. Often there are just a handful or maybe a few dozens on most of these locations at any given time. St Paul Police/Fire has 34,952 listening.Comment

I have members who work in a business in this area. The employer gives ex-offenders a break and doesn't care if you spent a decade in prison, if you show up and want to work, you will have a job. And a decent one at that, great insurance, fair amount of paid time off for sick/vacation, and better than a living wage. These are real people -- many of them people of color -- who will pay the price for this rioting. I get it. I'd like to torch every fvcking police department in the city of Minneapolis. Major pockets of areas. Still a lot of small businesses around, but numbers go down every year. Strangely enough, the pandemic helped many rediscover supporting small businesses.
