    IALTO.

Idaho, competing with Montana to NOT be as sparse as the Dakotas, but at least be as populated as Utah.
Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.

Idaho has enough Mormons to ensure their population will always stay well ahead of Montana.

The Mormons aren't the problem in Idaho.

Psh. He's enabled MPLS dems to enact extreme communist control over the city's beaches. Wake up!

Why does every female governor of Michigan get fu**ed and not in the fun way?
Because they get stuck with a GOP senate and house. Granholm never had a chance and Whitmer doesn't either.

I'm so looking forward to the post 2022 election cycle. 2020 is when the Voters not Politicians board get to redraw the state, which will eliminate the automatic R bias in this state. Which will help a lot, especially WRT compromise. Next, we can hope to get rid of the stupid term limits, which makes things even more radical when you are spending a lot time not working for anyone.

When I saw the map of where it was, it was in the middle of a wilderness area- and by that, it's not just trees, but there are no people who live there, there are no roads, no nothing.

My parents in Idaho Falls didn't feel it, my brother in Moscow kind of did. And it was smaller than the quake in the 80's that pushed up a mountain range by a yard.

(funny that I've had the USGS site live on my phone since December, thanks to my in-laws- now both of us are getting shaken up)

I have to work with them and one of the many double standards of righties is they can be as obnoxious as they want with you, but if you point out a contrary truth you are being nasty or unpatriotic or too political. It would actually cause me problems at work to state my beliefs, because the public standard of ideas is hard, hard core right. In many ways this is reinforced by the company, customer, and industry. It's a little right wing world.

This is my fault; I picked this work. I could have been an ACLU lawyer.

Righties don't even understand that their beliefs are political -- they think they are "just facts." Never attempt to teach a pig to sing.

Not to make this too political, but I had a conversation with a dumpy at work who thought complaining about the government was not ok, and that they "should go home" but had no reply when you point out that dumpy himself was complaining about the government for years. Talk about double standard.

On the other hand, the same dumpies have been taking this situation pretty seriously, so there's hope.

You wouldn't be staying your beliefs, you would be showing them the answer to their question. Whether that answer bothers them isn't your problem. And as I said, it might just make them question themselves just that little bit.
