If I were him I'd walk from UAH to BC if I had to.

If he does, he can play immediately according to CHN. The last time UAH cut and then reinstated their program their goalie transferred to North Dakota and was eligible that season.

Waiver is valid once a school announces it is dropping the sport whether or not it is reinstated. As to a player deciding to stay or continue transferring it would be up to them but given the opportunity to play for BC immediately it would be far fetched for him to return to UAH and it's future uncertainty. He looks to be a promising player who could fill a role at BC next year.

Ya, they needed another forward and this kid should be able to slide into a 4th line role and possibly into top nine. Tough to say really. Never seen him play and was on a bad team. But the full year of D1 experience should lead to an easier transition for him.

Looks like this kid was 1st/2nd line center for UAH almost all year. BC returns Newhook, McBain and McLaughlin at center so I think he'll start as the 4th line center. The real question is whether Hardman-Newhook-Boldy stay together or if they put Newhook and Hutsko together. After playing with Cotton and Mattila for almost three years, if they keep that other line together, Hutsko might not light it up right off the bat. But him and Newhook together? I'm in for that.

Interesting question. JY usually changes up the lines, but if we have a shortened season, he might lean on Newhook, Boldy and Hardman to carry the load. Hutsko with McLaughlin & CA could be a electric combo.

I think it would probably be Hutsko with McBain if that other line is kept together. Gonna try to take a look later for potential lineups. Boring times! Well, in the sports world...

I was looking at possible predicted lines and I have no idea who will be playing center besides Newhook and McLaughlin.

IMO I would prefer weight and nesterenko, but who knows. Weight played a better role on Penticton at center vs NTDP at wing.

I should add that I think Boldy was LW before BC so moving him to LW might be best option of all and it allows you to get Ambrosio into top 6.
