Adams wins the offensive zone draw back to kiersted. Kiersted flips the puck over to frisch, who then dumps it down to kawaguchi in the near corner. Kawaguchi skates up the boards and then pushes in to the near circle and absolutely lasers a wrister top shelf that beats mckay's glove and into the back of the net. We are all square!!

Woah. Michaelis wins the faceoff after Kawaguchi's goal, and the Mavs dump it into the North Dakota zone. Sowder wins a puck battle in the far corner, and throws a wrister on net that trickles through Scheel's pads, but goes just wide. North Dakota controls the puck for the rest of regulation, and when the third period horn sounds, we're going to need extra time to decide this one!

The cameras didn't show it, but Bucci wet himself when Kawaguchi scored the tying goal. Medical providers are in the ESPN booth at the moment making sure Melrose isn't dead.
