St. Thomas beat Concordia, meaning the St. Thomas-Lake Forest-UW-Eau Claire pod is possible, so Utica, along with Norwich and Geneseo, should have byes

That's right, currently we're looking at:

Plymouth State @ Endicott, winner to Utica
Babson @ Trinity, winner to Norwich
Adrian @ Hobart, winner to Geneseo
St. Thomas @ Lake Forest, winner to UW-Eau Claire.

Assuming Trinity wins, you may flip them and Endicott based on how much Trinity's RPI goes up, and if Wesleyan wins, we're looking at something different entirely, but this is how we're looking right now

When would Utica be able to host any games? The Aud has AHL hockey next Friday the 13th. at 7, MASL (indoor soccer) Saturday at 7, and Sunday at 2. The following week they have the AHL on the 20th at 7, soccer on Saturday at 7 and AHL at 3 on Sunday the 22nd.

The Adrian/Hobart/Geneseo pod is the Group of Death.

                  I have this:

                  West

                  St. Thomas (34)/Lake Forest(9) —> UWEC(6)

                  East-West

                  Adrian(6)/Hobart(4) —> Geneseo(3)

                  East

                  Plymouth(40)/Endicott(7) —> Norwich(2)
                  Babson(10)/Trinity(8) —> Utica (1)

Utica would get the Babson/Trin-Trin winner because Trinity is 8th in the PWR, which is lower than Endicott. The #1 seed would get the opponent from the pairing with the lower seeded projected winner.

I think this is what we get if Trinity wins. In the unlikely event of a Wesleyan win, things will be different, but I don't think that's going to be in the "Cards"

                  2007-2008 Last Person Standing Winner,
2013-2014 Last Person Standing Winner (tie)
                  2016-2017 Last Person Standing Winner

A few years ago Plattsburgh had to give up a home game because the Women were hosting the Final 4 and the men were told they couldn't play it on Sunday.

Next weekend should be irrelevant with an expected bye.
I'll guess Noon on Saturday 3/21. That'd leave about 3 hours for an ice->field switchover--if that's enough time.

All the side glass is removed, end glass is reinforced, floor laid and carpet rolled out. The four sections on the penalty box side are retracted for a floor level beer garden. On a good night, it takes over 4 hours. Doable I guess but I wouldn't want to be on that crew.

And then I would root for triple overtime. :-)

Oh, and they have to convert back to hockey for a Sunday 3pm Comets game. Sunday night would make the most sense if the powers that be would allow it.

They would play a Saturday morning game before a Sunday night game
