      Sanders has millions of supporters throughout the country from every demographic group. Some small portion of them are jerks. Which is exactly like every other candidate. Read Kos for a day: you will see stupid comments by supporters of every candidate.

      Demonizing Sanders supporters is exactly as lazy, inane, and counterproductive as demonizing Warren supporters.

            Nah, not really. Way more jerks in the Sanders camp because they view him as something more than just a politician who wants to be President hence the stronger emotions. I must have missed the part where Joe Biden fans were on twitter (something they probably don't know even exists) harassing other people for supporting a non-Biden candidate? Perhaps you could supply a link or two as evidence?

              Bernie now has a great opportunity thrust upon him. How many people are truly given an occasion to save the country? All he has to do is to convince his coalition to support Biden as enthusiastically as they have supported him. If he achieves that, he will be deserving of permanent accolades as a true American hero.
              If you don't change the world today, how can it be any better tomorrow?

                    He's certainly not going to bow out right now. That would be ridiculous. Biden was dead two weeks ago. Sanders is dead now. Biden could be dead again in two weeks.

                    Once the writing is on the wall then he should horsetrade a bit with Biden on cabinet picks and then be a good soldier. Until then, no. Biden's not entitled to anything any more than Sanders was last month.

                          Either of them could be literally dead with NCOV. Hell, I'm not convinced Warren doesn't think she could be the only one who literally survives the primary season. Then again, she's in the same boat (too soon?).

                              not happening - he spent last night attacking Biden. He should be attacking Trump and saying why HE is the best person to take him on. Don't alienate people that support other candidates and don't brainwash your supporters to hate them.
                              In '16 he did the same thing. He got more aggressive with Clinton as it got closer to the convention in '16, before finally endorsing her, but by then his supporters were rabidly anti-clinton.
