Bernie Blowback: Sanders' colleagues warn of political fallout and doomed agenda
I just love how Democrats embrace the Republican "socialism" tag.

Grow some balls, people. Stop being the abused housewife.
What kind of cheese are you planning to put on top?

        Virginia. Sanders.

Warren was my first choice but the electorate surprised me, for once in a good way.

Not agreeing with his policy proposals and believing they won’t play well with a large portion of the electorate isn’t really embracing the socialist tag.

Is that the one where he talks about having dinner in Beirut before the Intifada, and then during when he goes to the same place with his Fixer? That one is good. It was before he disappeared up his own butt.

It's a media narrative driven by Haves who are worried the heists will stop.

You know who looked like he couldn't play with others? Dump. Seems to be working fine with his party.

The other guy who had a rep as being "too radical" to get anything done in Congress was Reagan. As we all know, he was able to accomplish nothing and is lost to history.

We're going to hear boogeyman stories about Sanders from now to the General. The people who are frightened of him are exactly the people we should want frightened -- Beltway pundits (of both parties) and their paymasters. The vacuum cleaning of the middle class by the rich will end eventually. This is our opportunity for it to end peacefully. We should not pass it up. Even the dumbest Upper Class Twit of the Year should recognize that evolution is better than revolution.

Give me the person who terrifies both Mary Matlin and James Carville. That's the person who can reclaim this country from the scumsuckers (of both parties) who have shaken it down since 1980.

I thought it was excellent, but I don't claim to have a very deep understanding of that conflict or the larger one around it.

I will be voting on Tuesday and taking advantage of the only opportunity I will have to vote for Warren.

I know he ain't a perfect candidate but I agree with a lot of his ideas and think he would have best chance to beat Trump. But I know he probably won't end up being the nominee based on his dreadful initial debate alone.

I might do the same. I keep flip flopping between her and Sanders.

I think it's The Lexus and the Olive Tree when he started to become a David Brooksian Very Serious Man. Certainly by The World is Flat he's just a drool-bucket shlepper for globalist finance.

Andrew Sullivan was headed down that same yellow brick road until Dubya's Folly knocked him back to sense. And Francis Fukuyama was the poster child although that was actually false -- he's smart enough that he turned himself completely around. He's the case of a guy who having his reputation destroyed was the best thing that could have ever happened to him.

One of the Dem reps quoted actually said his state isn't ready for socialism.

                                But thanks for playing.
